Five years in pageantry. Two Texas titles. An international modelling career printed across five magazines on two continents. A teacher with a degree in French literature — and the woman who now reads every Stella Reign application herself.
Kim came to pageantry five years ago and took Mrs Texas Earth in 2022 and Mrs Texas Perfect in 2023. She knows the walk, the questions, the waiting in the wings — which is why the delegates she directs are never guessing about what happens next.
It is also why she sits in on every interview herself, rather than sending someone.
Before she directed, she modelled — and her editorials have run in magazines across the United States, Europe and beyond. From the Lotus Áo Dài spread celebrating Vietnamese heritage, to flying silk across the white sands, to the green gown that made a cover.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in French Literature and an Associate degree in Early Childhood Development. She teaches — and today she runs Dream Big Academy in Houston, Texas.
It is the least glamorous line in her biography and probably the most telling one. The care she brings to a classroom is the same care she brings to a delegate who is nervous about her first interview.
“Vegetarianism will help the world.”
It is not a slogan she keeps for the stage. Everything Kim does, she does to build that platform stronger and to spread words that help people — which is exactly what she asks of every delegate who competes under her.
